The eligibility criteria are different for different disciplines offered
in the HPTET 2021 Exam:

Elementary Education |

Shastri |
Shastri with a minimum score of 50%
from an awarding body that is duly recognized by the H.P. Government. |

JBT |
10+2 with 50% marks, and 2-years JBT
certificate from a recognized college, or 1-year Diploma in Elementary
Education, or 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education |

6 |
Language Teacher |
B.A. with selected language as an
elective subject along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or
1-year B. Ed. or B. Ed. or M.A. (Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi) with a minimum of 50 %
marks from a recognized University or 1-year B.Ed. can apply for the post. |
